Ian Evans - Instructor -  3rd Dan Black Belt

 

Ian has studied our style of Martial Arts plus several other styles for many years and is a superb technician and fighter. 

 

He has represented Wales at World Championship level and originally trained under Master Clifton Brown.  He took part in the 2013 WTKA/WKA /ICO Unified World Championship and came away as World Champion in the Veterans Light Continuous Section.  He was promoted to 3rd Dan in December 2016.

 

Ian's responsibilities include coaching the Academy's fighters at internal and external tournaments throughout the United Kingdom and assisting Mr Huxtable during lessons.

 

Mr Evans won the Club Student of the Year Award in 2009 for his attitude, dedication and progress in the Academy.
